Nike & SNKRS API: release calendars, prices and stock

Upcoming SNKRS launches, prices and Nike.com search in any country

On this page

Nike doesn't offer a public API for its product catalog or for SNKRS, its launch app. If you run a release-calendar site, a Discord cook group, or a bot that watches for new drops, the usual alternative is reverse-engineering Nike's apps and keeping up every time they change.

Packet provides unofficial REST endpoints for both SNKRS and Nike.com. You can get upcoming launches, the SNKRS feed, full product threads with prices, and Nike.com search results, for any country and locale. Every request costs 1 credit and returns structured JSON.

What you can get

SNKRS

Endpoint What it returns Cost
GET /v1/snkrs/upcoming Upcoming launches: title, launch dates, products, prices, quantity limits 1 credit
GET /v1/snkrs/feed The SNKRS feed, with trending and upcoming products 1 credit
GET /v1/snkrs/thread One SNKRS thread (product page) by thread ID, with every product and price in it 1 credit
GET /v1/snkrs/search SNKRS products matching a query 1 credit

Nike.com

Endpoint What it returns Cost
GET /v1/nike/search Nike.com search results for a query 1 credit
GET /v1/nike/thread A Nike.com product page by its group key 1 credit

Every endpoint takes a country (for example US, KR, FR) and a locale (en, ko, fr), so you get regional prices, currencies and release dates.

Your first request: upcoming SNKRS launches

curl "https://api.pckt.sh/v1/snkrs/upcoming?country=US&locale=en" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

In TypeScript or JavaScript, list each upcoming launch with its date and price:

const params = new URLSearchParams({ country: "US", locale: "en" });

const res = await fetch(`https://api.pckt.sh/v1/snkrs/upcoming?${params}`, {
  headers: { Authorization: `Bearer ${process.env.PCKT_API_KEY}` },
});
const { items } = await res.json();

for (const launch of items) {
  for (const product of launch.products) {
    console.log(
      launch.title,
      product.style_color,
      product.commerce_start_date,
      product.current_price,
      product.currency,
    );
  }
}

Fields you'll use most

Packet returns Nike's own response structure. In upcoming, each item in items[] is a launch with:

  • title, subtitle, thread_id and seo_slug
  • effective_start_sell_date and publication_date
  • products[], each with:
    • style_color (the style code, such as DZ5485-612)
    • commerce_start_date
    • current_price and full_price, in currency
    • status
    • quantity_limit
    • skus
  • cover_card, with images for your calendar

Pass any thread_id to /v1/snkrs/thread for the full product page. A thread can hold several products, such as a full family size run (grade school, preschool and toddler sizes), each with its own msrp, current_price, discounted flag and exclusive_access flag.

Note that SNKRS uses thread IDs and Nike.com uses group keys. Neither is the same as a product ID, so take them from the upcoming, feed or search responses.

What people build with it

  • Release calendars. Show upcoming drops per country, with local prices and launch times.
  • Drop alerts. Poll upcoming and notify a Discord or Telegram channel when a new launch appears or a date changes.
  • Regional price comparison. Fetch the same thread in the US, Korea and France to compare retail prices before a release.
  • Resale research. Pair retail prices from Nike with resale prices from StockX or GOAT for the same style code. You use the same API key and credit balance for every marketplace.

What it costs

Each request costs 1 credit. Plans include monthly credits:

  • Free: 500 credits a month covers 500 requests, enough to build your calendar or bot.
  • Developer: 50,000 credits a month. Polling SNKRS upcoming every 10 minutes in one country uses about 4,300 credits a month. Ten countries at that rate still fit.

Credits never expire, and you can top up at any time. See pricing or estimate your usage with the calculator.

Limits and good practice

  • Rate limits depend on your plan (1 request per second on Free, up to 25 on Scale) and apply across all endpoints.
  • Poll sensibly. Launch calendars don't change every second. Polling every 5 to 15 minutes catches new drops without wasting credits.
  • Don't buy for bots. Use the data for calendars, alerts and research. Nike's terms apply to purchasing.

FAQ

Does Nike have an official SNKRS API?
No public one. Packet's Nike and SNKRS endpoints are unofficial: we maintain them, so when Nike changes its apps, we fix the endpoints on our side.

Can I get release dates for other countries?
Yes. Pass country and locale, for example country=KR&locale=ko for Korea or country=FR&locale=fr for France.

What's the difference between SNKRS and Nike.com endpoints?
SNKRS covers Nike's launch app: hyped releases, the feed and launch threads. Nike.com covers the general catalog and search. Many products appear in both.

Do I need to handle proxies or captchas?
No. Proxies, anti-bot handling and retries run on our side.
